Hi, I’m Ellen!
Certified small-batch maker of things.
A nonfiction book editor and strategist by trade, I’m also a mother, writer, and enthusiastic collector of offline hobbies.
And although working in publishing is truly the dream, becoming a mother unlocked an intense desire to give my creative pursuits the same attention typically reserved for “serious work only.”
As a retired 4-H girlie, honoring the revival of my adult-onset creativity meant I needed a way to explore and document parts of myself that had been waiting patiently for their turn.
Ellen on Paper is where I document and share essays, projects, experiments, recommendations, and whatever I'm currently excited about with the other women who want to try it all.
